The disposal cost for delivering solid waste to CMCMUA facilities is calculated on a net weight basis.  The following user fees, also referred to as "tipping fees" shall be charged for the disposal of solid waste at the Authority's Sanitary Landfill and Transfer Station.  Where applicable, the user fees also include State-mandated taxes and payments required to be established by the State of New Jersey.

The Cape May County Solid Waste Management Plan requires that all non-recycled solid waste which is generated within Cape May County must be disposed of at the CMCMUA Sanitary Landfill or Transfer Station or a permitted out-of-State solid waste facility.  The disposal of Cape May County generated solid waste at any solid waste facility located in New Jersey, other than the CMCMUA, is prohibited.  Contact the CMCMUA for more information.

There is a minimum disposal charge of $7.00 for all solid waste & recycling disposal at the CMCMUA Sanitary Landfill & Transfer Station, for those waste types that carry a tipping fee or recycling fee. This minimum fee of $7.00 will be charged regardless of vehicle type.
