Wastewater Force Main Replacement Project

Update #1 - Week 9/2/19 through 9/6/19

Ocean City, NJ – The Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority (CMCMUA) Bay Ave Force Main Rehabilitation Project will commence on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. 

Project Scope:

  • Replace 20in Ductile Iron Force Main with 20in PVC Force Main.
  • Slip Line existing 20in Ductile Iron Force Main with 16om HDPE
  • Extents: 31st and Haven to 8th and Bay

Scope and Timeline:

Active Work:
Lafayette Utility Company (Contractor) will be working mobilizing material and equipment (Pipe , Heavy Equipment, Traffic Control Equipment) in the vicinity of 31st and Haven Aves. It is not anticipated that physically work will begin until the week 9/9/19.  

Traffic:
Traffic Control Measure will be implemented and enforced upon the commencement of physical work on 9/9/19.
