Bay Ave, Ocean City, NJ

Update #10 - Week 11/4/19 through 11/8/19

Active work:

As of the end of the day (Friday 11/01/19), the Contractor will have installed pipe, backfilled the trench, and temporary paved to a point approximately 150' south of 28th Street.

No work will take place on Monday 11/4/19.

On Tuesday 11/5/19, work will cross 28th Street and proceed northward between 28th and 27th Streets. It is expected that one crew will be working in this area for the remainder of the week.

Over the weekend (11/2 - 11/3) and into Monday 11/4/19, Bay Avenue will be opened to traffic with a lane shift at the terminus of work at 28th and Bay so as to avoid equipment and materials.

Commencing Tuesday 11/5 – Thursday 11/8, Bay Avenue will be closed between 34th and 24th streets. Traffic detours will be established to divert motorists to West Ave. The picture below depicts the North and South traffic pattern to be followed. Drivers are urged to obey all established traffic patterns.
