Wastewater Force Main Replacement Project

Update #11 - Week 11/11/19 through 11/15/19

Active work:

As of the end of the day (Friday 11/8/19), the Contractor will have installed PVC piping, backfilled, and temporary paved up to a point about 100' North of 28th Street.

No work will take place on Monday the 11/11/19.

On or about 11/12/19, the Contractor will be shutting down Bay Ave from 34th Street up to 14th Street while the second work crew will begin mobilizing at the site. It is expected that the second crew will begin physical work on or about 11/18/19. As such, work will be done by one crew at about 28th Street going North, and the second crew at 14th Street going South.

Over the weekend (11/9 - 11/10) and into Monday 11/11/19, Bay Avenue will be open to two lanes of traffic over the weekend with lane shifts around the terminus of work.

Commencing Tuesday 11/12 – Thursday 11/15, Bay Avenue will be closed between 34th and 24th streets. As mentioned above, Bay will be closed up to 14th street upon the second crew commencing work. Traffic detours will be established to divert motorists to West Ave.
