Wastewater Force Main Replacement Project

Update #14 - Week 12/2/19 through 12/6/19

Active work:

As of the end of the day Wednesday (11/27/19), the Contractor will have installed PVC piping, backfilled, and temporary paved up between 26th and 25th Streets. The contractor's North crew will have saw cut the pavement and staged material and equipment in the vicinity of 18th St to 15th St.

From Monday (12/2/19) to Friday (12/6/19) the South crew will be continuing toward 25th Street. The North crew will be working in the vicinity of 16th Street. 


From Thanksgiving (11/28/19), through Sunday (12/1/19) Bay Avenue will be open to two lanes of traffic with lane shifts around stored materials and equipment.

From Monday (12/2/19) to Friday (12/6/19) Bay will be closed from 34th to 14th street.  Traffic detours will be established to divert motorists to West Ave with a Police Traffic director stationed at 14th Street to assist in traffic control.
